Lindsay Charron
Osteopathic Practitioner. D.O.M.P., BSc Exercise Science
Hi, I’m Lindsay! Originally from Quebec, I’ve spent the past 17 years living, working, and playing in the Yukon. I’m excited to be joining the Soma team and exploring everything the beautiful Comox Valley has to offer. I bring over a decade of experience as an osteopath, along with a genuine passion for helping patients feel their best and thrive in their daily lives.
I hold an undergraduate degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology. After several years working in athletic settings, I was drawn to a more holistic approach to treating injury and pain. I went on to complete my osteopathic training at the Canadian School of Osteopathy, where I defended my thesis, “The Effect of Osteopathic Treatment of Caesarean Scars on the Five Sphere Test and Static Balance.” I am a proud member of Osteopathy BC.
My approach to treatment is patient-centred and tailored to each individual. I use a combination of structural, visceral, cranial, and myofascial techniques to identify and address the root cause of pain or dysfunction. I enjoy working with patients of all ages, including infants, children, and pre- and postnatal individuals. I have a particular interest in concussions, whiplash, TMJ dysfunction, and visceral concerns. I’m pleased to offer treatment in both English and French.
Outside the clinic, you’ll likely find me skiing, surfing, biking, running, or spending time outdoors with my family. I look forward to meeting you!
